Small Business Saturday / Cut flower gardens-to-go!
One of the highlights of 2020 for me was growing and sharing our first ever cut flower gardens-to-go…And they were a huge hit!
“We loved the Cut Flower Garden I hope you do it again in 2021 we would definitely be interested in it again…” — Katie
“We just wanted to update you. We purchased the pink kit this past Mother’s Day and I am extremely pleased. My flowers are doing amazing and I am getting so many flowers for bouquets. I hope you do this again next year. I will definitely be purchasing again.” — Erin
While I don’t have (many) things to sell at the beginning of winter (though we do have paperwhites, amaryllis and wreaths right now!), We will be doing these gardens again in 2021 in two colors - peach and pink. These are curated collections of “workhorse” flowers that grow well for us on our farm in the hot and humid DMV area and make great long-lasting and beautiful cut flowers. There is something special about growing and cutting flowers from your own garden and bringing them inside or sharing them with a neighbor or friend! These gardens will be available for pickup in early May (our last frost date in this area is mid May) and will include zinnias, strawflower, cosmos, celosia, scabiosa, echinacea, basil, eucalyptus and more!
If you purchase a garden-to-go as a gift this holiday season, we will happily email or mail you a gift certificate to tuck in somewhere special - just specify at checkout in the notes section or shoot me an email — morgan AT bellebloomsfarm DOT com
Supporting a small business (especially in a year like this! especially a farm with a distinct growing season that only lasts from April to October!) means more than you know! It helps us to buy seeds and enhance our soil to grow more beautiful blooms. It helps us buy pellets for our wood stove to heat the greenhouse. It helps pay for gas! It helps us commit to buying perennials and shrubs and infrastructure and and and! It helps us know that you want us around in the long term. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this, for supporting this farm, for encouraging me to keep going on the hard days and for supporting local flowers // local business!
