She is just as sweet as her name! Belle is a great 'sister from another mister' / teacher / friend. Currently training her to sit, stay, come, lay down and fist bump -- and not to BITE (she loves biting more than anything!) She gets the hiccups after every meal. She is always filthy dirty. We are all smitten.

Besides the pun, it truly is the dog days of summer. The past 7+ days have felt like 100 degrees. Tomorrow the heat may break just in time to get 15 trays of seedlings into the ground (major greenhouse backlog!) We've had storms the past three days after almost a month of no rain. So thankful even if it knocked over some crops.

Artichokes! For some reason this feels like a big deal.
